Introduction to GRE

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a globally recognized standardized test required for admission into graduate programs (Master’s & PhD) at universities, primarily in the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia. 4. GRE Scoring System

Verbal & Quantitative Sections: Scored between 130–170 each.
Analytical Writing: Scored between 0–6 in half-point increments.
Total Score Range: 260–340.
A good GRE score is typically 310+, depending on the university.

Register online via the ETS (Educational Testing Service) website. GRE exam fee in India: $228 (₹19,000–₹20,000). The test is available multiple times a year, with flexible test dates.
